yesterday , i received my prize of "dokdo letter" from vank i was so happy not only because i have won but because i have participated in an important issue for south korea which is " dokdo island" by looking for the reasons that have made me being convinced that dokdo belongs to south korea. for 2 days i had read so many articles and old archives and documents about this issue.thus , the competition was a way to have more informations about korea's history . i still have to know more about real facts about korea and thanks to vank i have made my basic knowledge that have allowed me to correct some facts to my sorrounding too ^ - ^

Sejong soloists

this video represents a string orchestra named " Sejong soloists" of 14 members from 8 countries but the majority of them are korean origin including the technical director of the orchestra. the band was established in 1995 in new york. moreover , the orchestra has provided more than 350 shows over the world and has won praises from many magazines as one of the greatest orchestra in the world. At the end of last year the band has came to visit Korea to meet with her fans there.
choosing the name of " Sejong" was based on the lack of informations about korea in united states and in the rest of the world at that time. Sejong was the greatest king in the history of korea thanks to his achievments in many domains including art and music. so for them the name is the ambassador of korean heritage through their amazing music.

happy new year koreaaaaaaa ^ - ^

my best thing that happened to me this year is korea and how year after year i am more convinced by my choice . i have made a new friend from korea, i have won prizes in korean competitions. so , it can be simple things for many poeple but for me it means a lot. in fact , to fight for a dream it's not easy when everything that sourround doesn't encourage your dream, however, i am still keeping the promise ^^.

the video represents a tour around imjin river in paju in gyeongui province.the zone belongs to military demarcation line in the DMZ. thus , for korean it's a part of painful souvenirs of korean civil war. however , it's a touristic place where there is rare animals and beautiful sights.besides , "the panjak festival" of cereals "jangdam" which produce one of the best cereals in the world due to the system of production . in other words , Grain "Jangdan" grow in the area of environmental eco-friendly off limits to ordinary people.
