hommage for my grandfather

today my grandfather died. i am still under the shock. i can't believe he is dead. he was suffering from zhamer. this letter from me to him:

"hi my dear basido i miss you even if i haven't seen you for almost 3 years. i don't think i was ready to see you unable to remember me as i am your first Grandchild and i had spent my childhood with you and waiting you coming from work in the evening and taking me on each time i come to visit you to your friend's library and letme choose whatever i want and always i had chosen (copybook and pencil , a magazine ( pif et hercule and majid) it's was my ritual even i was jut 3 and 4 years old and unble to read or write but it was my ritual :). spend the sundays in your garage watching you fixing things and sitting in my favourite chair which turns. these simple moments had made me appreciate and enjoy the simplest things in my life even your R4. it's my favourite car :). i have alot of shining memories on that car. ( the first time i eat harira it was in the car and taking me to Railway station to wait my aunts coming from faculty in the evening). "

the general YI SUN SIN korea buzz

i am so sad that i was not active writing on my blog like i used to, due to my mum's accident. i thought i will be able to handle it but the lack of time and being tired were my worst enemies. so , today is the last day of korean blog competition and am really sad not to be so active to show my love for korea.
these are some pictures of the exhibition of the famous korean general YI SUN-SIN's life and achievements , in the layer under the floor of the center of the "Kwang Hwa Moon", . The exhibition includes also a model of the turtle ship, invented by General YI.

yesterday , i received my prize of "dokdo letter" from vank i was so happy not only because i have won but because i have participated in an important issue for south korea which is " dokdo island" by looking for the reasons that have made me being convinced that dokdo belongs to south korea. for 2 days i had read so many articles and old archives and documents about this issue.thus , the competition was a way to have more informations about korea's history . i still have to know more about real facts about korea and thanks to vank i have made my basic knowledge that have allowed me to correct some facts to my sorrounding too ^ - ^

Sejong soloists

this video represents a string orchestra named " Sejong soloists" of 14 members from 8 countries but the majority of them are korean origin including the technical director of the orchestra. the band was established in 1995 in new york. moreover , the orchestra has provided more than 350 shows over the world and has won praises from many magazines as one of the greatest orchestra in the world. At the end of last year the band has came to visit Korea to meet with her fans there.
choosing the name of " Sejong" was based on the lack of informations about korea in united states and in the rest of the world at that time. Sejong was the greatest king in the history of korea thanks to his achievments in many domains including art and music. so for them the name is the ambassador of korean heritage through their amazing music.
